Cleaned out
It’s always cool when you wake up in the morning and discover that your backpack (containing your Powerbook, iPod, and passport) and your wife’s iBook and iPod, are gone.
But, no one in the house was harmed, and life goes on. I could be much worse off; because of a bit of a scare earlier in the week, I backed up the entire hard drive. As in the entire drive, bit-for-bit. And I have a complete image of Carrie’s machine from no more than two or three weeks ago.
Now, I’ve had to cancel every single card I have in my possession, and am proceeding to change every single password I have, but that’s OK. Inconvenience I can live with.
Hopefully, the insurance peeps will hook us up. That phone call will happen Monday.
